Chronic bronchitis may be observed in patients with AATD and is a key feature of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) that can be recognized by a chronic productive cough for 3 months in at least two successive years. In total, 8-40% of patients with AATD have reported chronic bronchitis.1
Unexplained bronchiectasis may also be observed in patients with AATD.1
